Pursuant to the BSP Circular No. 1055 dated 17 October 2019 on the Adoption of a National QR Code Standard, the Philippine Payments Management, Inc. (PPMI), in its capacity as the country's Payment System Management Body, has informed the Bangko Sentral of the approval by the PPMI of the EMV@ QR Code as the National QRCode Standard for payment and financial services.
The BSFls shall adopt this Standard in compliance with Circular No. 1055.
